HawaiiVacationMap.comVacation Seasons In Hawaii - Best Time To Visit Hawaii

Hawaii Islands make up the state of Hawaii, the latest adhered to the union and one of the most visited in United States of America, it being a predilect tourist destination to people looking for beach vacations. The archipelago lies in the central part of Pacific Ocean, at about 2,563 miles (4,125 kilometers) to the westernmost point of US mainland, and is formed of a large number of islands, islets and reefs. Yet, there are inhabited and well developed for tourist industry only a few of them, the most popular being Kauai, Big Island, Maui, Oahu, and Lanai. As consequence of its geographic position, the weather in Hawaii is tropical, namely hot and wet, but with several specific characteristics of a territory located in the middle of the ocean.

The excellent warm weather in Hawaii and low variation of temperature between seasons are, along with the awesome beaches and cozy accommodation amenities provided by luxury hotels, key factors in attracting a so large number of vacationers. Generally, the tropical climate is very hot and extremely humid, yet in Hawaii the oceanic influences and the eastern trade winds soften the high temperatures, so that the warm weather throughout the entire state allows travelers to spend a lot of time outdoor in any part of the year. This fantastic trait is a main reason why vacation packages to Hawaii are demanded constantly in voyage agencies. The daytime average temperatures are about 86–90 degrees Fahrenheit (30–32 degrees Celsius) in July–August and around 81–83 degrees Fahrenheit (27–28 Celsius) in December–January, so in fact there is always a warm and pleasant weather. The water temperature is also very good for aquatic sports, 76 degrees Fahrenheit (24 degrees Celsius) in January and 80 degrees Fahrenheit (27 degrees Celsius) in July.

When is the best time to visit Hawaii? With such fantastic weather and imperceptible temperature variations between seasons, vacations in Hawaii are extraordinary life experiences anytime and therefore most resorts and hotels flourishing year-round. The rainiest part of the year is the winter (attention, "winter" has another significance at tropics!), yet most rainfall occurs in the northeastern part of the archipelago because the trade winds blow from that direction and the clouds drop most of water they carry on the windward side of the islands. Occasionally can appear heavy rains in any part of the state, but generally the rainfall are rather brief showers that last a short period and after that the sun is shinning again friendly on the bright sky. Some people know the tropical regions are characterized also by hurricanes. In Hawaii Islands it are very rare and hit the islands once in about 10 years. Actually, most serious storms in the area are generated between Hawaii and Baja California, and are over before to reach the land. Most hurricanes in the Hawaiian region are forming from June to November.

Generally, it is considered that the dry season in Hawaii lasts from April to October and the rainy season from November to March. The peak season in Hawaii is between mid-December and mid-April, even if the best weather is in April–May and September–October. Of course, in the holiday season all hotels in Hawaii practice the highest room rates and therefore vacation packages are more expensive, while the most popular beaches can get pretty crowded. A special case is the Waikiki Beach, where the number of Japanese tourists (who, by the way, adore this beach!) is very large in the last week of April and first week of May because then in Japan is the "Golden Week" break and many travel to Hawaii in order to enjoy relaxing breaks on splendid strands. As conclusion, budget-conscious people are advised to book accommodation in hotels or pick travel deals to Hawaii in spring or autumn because the prices are much more convenient in all beach resorts and the weather is even more pleasant than in the high season. Tourists who cannot planning trips in specific periods of the year are invited to visit this wonderful tropical paradise on their convenience – there is no bad time to take delight in the most attractive landmarks this state has to offer!
